Pan Acoustics reports great success in bark beetle control. After years of basic and applied research
with various biological institutes, there is hope in combating the bark beetle plague in the Harz
Mountains in Germany.

It was a great concern of the founder and owner of Pan Acoustics GmbH, Udo Borkmann from
Wolfenbüttel, who applies his scientifi c knowledge to tackle problems of the general public and to
support solutions with technical means.

For the reopening of the Braunschweig traditional discotheque "Jolly Team" in 2017, Pan Acoustics installed a sound system that is second to none: a line array with beam steering technology, refined with AMT tweeters, as well as powerful 18'' active subwoofers and other equipment from the Wolfenbüttler loudspeaker forge provide rich sound for dancing, but also for natural sound at concerts and other live events.

Worldwide unique project: simulation of engine noise through speakers system

Acoustic research program aimed to improve the experience of airline passengers by examining noise transmission on aircraft, was till now very costly because this could only take place during a flight. Through a unique mulit-channel sound system, it's now possible to simulate the authentic noise of a turbine on the ground.
