Successful sound reinforcement in the cruise terminal

Active line arrays interacting with voice alarm system in Warnemünde cruise terminal

Large hall, lots of glass, demanding acoustics. Pan Acoustics met this challenge in the project for the sound reinforcement in the Cruise Terminal Rostock Port. Thanks to the use of active line column arrays from the Pan Beam series, excellent STI values were achieved.

Partner Telemann GmbH, responsible for the installation of the voice alarm system in the cruise terminal, was pleased with the smooth and convenient integration of Pan Acoustics loudspeakers.

Museumsinsel Berlin relies on design loudspeakers

Clear announcements in the James Simon Gallery despite reverberant concrete walls

Digitally controllable line array speakers from the Pan Beam series were the solution for the sound reinforcement in the entrance building and visitor center of the Museumsinsel Berlin, which is designed with many glass and concrete elements. This is a treat for the eye from an architectural point of view, but quite challenging for the room acoustics.

Above to the great sound, suited not only for voice announcements but also for music reproduction, the architects from David Chipperfield Architects were particularly impressed by the slim and unobtrusive design of the line array. The geometric shape, the filigree manufacture and the color of the loudspeakers, which matches the furnishings, blend harmoniously into the James Simon Gallery. The speakers were also integrated into the voice alarm system without any problems.

Safe and intelligible sound reinforcement in the largest office building in Germany

Pan Beam installation “The Squaire”, Frankfurt

With a total rentable area of 140,000 square meters, The Squaire is Germany's largest office building and is located directly at Frankfurt Airport.

The building, which architecture evokes associations with a whale or a large ship, houses next to offices two hotels, restaurants, medical practices, shops, but also a parking garage and a long-distance train station. The airport terminal can be reached in walking distance as well as the Frankfurt (Main) Airport train station.

Pan Acoustics supplied this transverse high-rise building with line array loudspeakers from the Pan Beam series, covering the impressive glass atriums with outstanding and powerful sound. In addition, the loudspeakers are integrated into the electro-acoustic emergency system according to EN 50849. In the event of an emergency, evacuation with intelligible announcements is guaranteed even in the event of a power outage.

The system is controlled and managed via the Bosch Praesideo central system.

University Hospital Kiel relies on highest audio quality for voice alarm system

Pan Evac Series for more safety and great sound

As one of the largest European centers of university medicine, the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein has created a new six-story building at the Kiel campus where medical care as well as research and innovative technologies go hand in hand.

Line array loudspeakers of the models P 04-EN54 and the longer lines P 08-EN54, which both hold the required certification according to EN 54-24, were integrated into the voice alarm system of the building.
